Lager in Kuwait is $4 USD

last i checked we don't have beer in Kuwait, and when it's available in the black market it usually don't cost less than 4 KD a can (aprox. $15 USD), so what the hell is this site talking about?

check your facts before you turn them into stats

The price went up, to 5.74 LOL

I'm guessing they're just converting currency or something

The original price was probably set by some white army dude stationed in Kuwait that gets it for cheap because his country wants him to be happy when he gets shot in the ass on the border.

Lager used to be readily available in Kuwait in the good old 60s. Maybe they plain forgot to factor in "inflationary correction".Either that, or Michael Moore is the brain behind this website for not having adequately researched their stuff.

With matters of lager at hand surely you are allowed some largesse for bullshiting, is my drunken assumption.
Ever wondered why Karl Lagerfeld doesn't do spectacularly well in a dry arid Kuwait ?! Well, you're spot on - blame it on the lager in his name.

They may be on to something here. Last I looked the authorities were desperately trying to rein in prices of consumer commodities in Kuwait.
Worth checking it out with your off-licences in Mishref or South Surra to see if prices have corrected.

Back when I was still in Kuwait booze would flow like running tap water both in leafy suburbs as much as in seedy suburbs of north Kuwait. No matter, the very high per capita consumption of bottled soda water in Kuwait. You seriously didn't think the guy buying wholesale amounts of soda at TSC was doing it at the behest of his partner who insisted he bring home cartfulls of soda each weekend for soda water tasting sessions, did ya?
