Random musings, sometimes about Kuwait
This huge tower is supposed to be a construction project in Kuwait.
Some say it is a hoax, others say it is real and that the tower should be completed by 2010.
I'll believe it when I see it.

Interesting!
Like you, I will believe it when I see it. I have come to second-guess real-estate developments in kuwait..
Khair enshalla, this isn't Ocean's 13 ^_^
I used to get excited about any development that might happen in Kuwait.
However, after a few failed, delayed, stupid projects, you start getting pretty pessimistic.
grey: i heard ya, both times lol
kinan: when i am on the last floor, i will believe it, its hidious anyways
n.: it looks ugly, and in some angles like the male genitals
bojacob: thats how i feel, sad but true

Yes it is hideous. I can't even begin to imagine how the "architect" came up with the concept!
What is this monstrosity? From the looks of it, it looks architecturally feasible (since there is an enormous column in the middle).
The net is abuzz with it. If it isn't a hoax, Kuwait will soon be blinded by the reflections and refractions of the sun's rays from this glass monster
It need a small building shaped as Indian playing the flout in front of it
Dubai maybe. Kuwait never. This place can't even pave a road or build a 12-storey apartment that isn't beige. That cobra, nor anything like it, will ever be built in Kuwait. Ever. not even 'just not in my lifetime'.
kinan: he was a gay architect lol
kj: i am guessing you've never been to kuwait????
بومريوم: LOOOOOOOL
moocherx: that's exactly why i'll only believe it when i see it, or when i'm in it.
If it’s true that will be cool! Sadly I might never see it except in pics and magazines!
nora-cassandra: why do you think yo uwon't see it?
I feel the design is a bit un-Islamic. Besides, the name Cobra reeks of beer. Are we sure they don't want to put this through a Parliamentary committee's litmus test?? Maybe they could even grill the architect and lead designer too!
Because I don't think I'll ever be coming back there! :P
seems like a hoax ;/
