Lama Hourani is a Jordanian Jewelry Designer who has been designing and producing jewelry since 2000 and resides between Milan and Amman. Her work has been exhibited in Museums and Galleries around the world. Her creations were featured in the New York Times, De Pers- Netherland, Wall Street Journal and soon in Marie Clair- Brazil. Inspired from the old primitive etchings and drawings; adorning walls and caves through out Jordan's Desert and rich archeological relics. Recalling many locations around the world with similar drawings; of a similar life & daily practices which was way before languages, ethnicities & religions. Those symbols are familiar, explicable and they become a way of communication that bears free self-expression, peace and unity.Villa Moda was launched in 2002 in Kuwait as an alternative luxury fashion retailer, taking the best elements of luxury retail in the West and adding a distinct, cosmopolitan 'Gulf' twist for its wealthy, well-traveled and fashion-savvy clientèle.
